Damn! How did I get nostalgic?!
When I first saw it I was 6-7 years old, damn, how cool the computer graphics in the video were for that time! The clip was stylized as a computer game. I really dreamed of playing a game with such graphics, then for games this was an unattainable limit. But now, 14 years later, any average toy has graphics superior to it. And then it finally dawned on me – the future has arrived! I live in it, it has become real for me. In fact, all my childhood dreams have come true, well, except for the hoverboard, but scientists are working on it, there are even prototypes… In 50-60 years, maybe I’ll even ride it live..
Otherwise I digress. The coolest thing is that all the places in this clip are recognizable. And who would have thought, they would be recognized thanks to GTA5! The most interesting thing is that the clip shows the concept of an open sandbox world with enormous possibilities. For example, you can run, swim, drive cars, fly on an airplane, helicopter. In 2000 there were no or almost no such games. But GTA5 fully realizes all the possibilities that are shown in the video. Moreover, some points coincide 1 in 1. Particularly pleasing is the psychedelia and total chaos (albeit relatively peaceful in the video). There’s even a concept for switchable characters!
The only difference is the magic in the video, when fancy devices fly in the air or the characters shrink in size. so what? Maybe the arrival of GG is shown there 🙂 In GTA5 there is also a lot of this stuff.
To sum it up, 13 years later, the Rockstar people have fulfilled my childhood dream! I forgot about her a long time ago… But she was! You know, things like this show that all dreams do come true. Not immediately, but over time.
I’m taking a leave of absence and recommend watching this clip!
IIII DOWN! ON THE INTERNET!
Well, since it’s such a booze, then http://casinoandfriend.uk/ there’s also a 2x bonus:

13 years later, my childhood dream has come true. And I realized this only a year later. Even two. CherePawesome manul, oneTOO.
IMHO the drill should be under..
Eh mtivi 90-00 to whom did you leave us?? 🙁
It was a cool show about tricks.
One of my favorite clips, I watch it and it gives me goosebumps 😀
And the comparison with GTA naturally suggests itself, it’s brilliant!
I remember that in some stunt show on MTV, at the time the video was released, they played the trick 3:17. Dude threw a car off a bridge and jumped onto an approaching helicopter. That’s when my head exploded. O_o
This topic inspired me to find one clip, which is also made in the style of the game. And I remember the shots. I was looking for a long time, I wanted to see it so much and in the end I was disappointed. It used to be cooler, now it doesn’t work at all.

Damn, but really. Same story. I looked and dreamed.
It’s not my fault that I didn’t serve in the Sunshine children’s sanatorium, sorry 🙁
If I had known that everything was so cool in the western part of Russia, I would have left without a second thought.
Abkhazia – seven, three kilometer run. Live on landfills for six months, in the dark. You shave by touch, instead of water you use your own saliva. The main thing is that the machine is not dull. Wash your legs and armpits with a pot outside, in the rain and snow. Or in a dirty pond. Carrying logs from the swamp on your own hump through three ditches.
Test site on the Taman Peninsula – thirty people slept on eight-meter-long floors. Walk two kilometers every day with 15 kg of glands on your hump. They fed me some shit. But it was especially fun as a telephone operator – you take the reel and go to unwind – two kilometers from the checkpoint to the positions. And then back. Rupture – ran along the wire to look for him.
Sanatorium, motherfucker)
I have a similar story, but it dates back to years a little less distant: I played one of my favorite games – the third war craft and after it I couldn’t shake off the dream of a game that would be concentrated on one character that we control and would be completely dedicated to roleplaying. Here, for example, you spend several hours crafting a sword in a difficult and long mini-game, and then you go to the market and sell it, you live like this for a while, until a local bigwig notices you and takes you with him to travel, forge and repair the gear of an entire squad, then a huge spider runs at you, or, worse, a darconite swoops in and you start to fight and your friends turn into bloody scraps, and you are separated out of horror you run away to the city, where along the way you are robbed and sent into slavery and there you die, respawn again with a bare bottom and continue to look for adventures.
And then I saw the WoW trailer, and then I visited Warhammer Online on MTV and found out what an MMO is. But I tried it only a few years later… and was disappointed to the core. But now I’m looking at DayZ and I understand that there’s not much left to wait 🙂
